🚗 TRANSPORTATION – Villa Oceana is located in a hillside community and the house is perched at the top of a hill. While a 4×4 vehicle is NOT required, but a vehicle with good ground clearance is recommended. For larger groups, we recommend renting two SUVs rather than one large passenger van.

Coco Bay Estates is a large gated development located between Playas del Coco and Playa Ocotal. Tucked off the main road, you are just a 5-minute drive to the shops and restaurants of Playas del Coco. Playas del Coco is just a 30-minute drive from Guanacaste Airport (LIR), near Liberia. Several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops to count. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk. Many scuba diving, sport fishing, and sightseeing tours depart from Coco. You’re also close to several area day trip spots—waterfalls, hiking, hot springs and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours.
