Guests are required to register with the Los Almendros security in advance of your stay. We will request the names of guests to pre-register you and ensure a smooth arrival to the property.
Guests have private use of the villa and share the community pool with other guests and residents of theLos Almendros community.

Los Almendros is a gated community on the beach in Playa Ocotal. There is a guard that lets guests in and out of the property. In addition to your private plunge pool, you can use the shared community pool with ocean views, loungers and covered table areas. There is plenty of shade along the beachfront and the ends of the beach have rocky reefs that offer good shore snorkeling options. There is a small mini market and two great restaurants – Father Rooster and Soluna Beach Bar at Bahia Pez Vela Resort
A 10-minute drive to the downtown of Playas del Coco gets you into the action. You can either rent a car or have your personal vacation planner arrange for an airport shuttle. Guanacaste Airport (LIR), near Liberia, is just a 40-minute drive from the home. Several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops can be found in neighboring Playas del Coco. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk. You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Enjoy the plethora of restaurants and activities in the area, then retire to the peace and tranquility of this beautiful vacation home.
This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa (1,500 sq ft) sits just 115m from Playa Ocotal, where ocean views and gentle breezes set the tone for a peaceful getaway. After a day at the beach or exploring all Costa Rica has to offer, come back to your own private retreat to unwind in total comfort.
The upper level features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area with vaulted wood ceilings, stainless steel appliances (including a gas stove and dishwasher), and a 50″ Smart TV. Step out to the ocean-view terrace — perfect for morning coffee, sunset watching, or enjoying the sea breezes. This level also includes a full bathroom, laundry area, dedicated workspace, and the primary bedroom. On the lower level, two guest bedrooms share a full bathroom and have access to a balcony with peekaboo ocean views — a cozy spot to unwind after the beach.

As a reminder, check-in time is after 3PM CST and check-out time is before 10AM CST. Alternate times may be accommodated based on the rental schedule. NO early check-in or late check-out is permitted unless confirmed by Rich Coast Vacations in advance of your trip.

HOUSE RULES
Each Bedroom has a mini-split A/C unit. The unit should be set to COOL (use Mode button). Guests should not turn air conditioners below 23C / 74F. Setting the air conditioning units too low will lead to damage of the unit and possibly the property. When you leave the property, please turn off ALL air conditioners. Electricity in Costa Rica is VERY expensive. The mini-split air conditioners will cool down the rooms down very quickly upon your return. When you are not sleeping or using the bedroom(s) or a particular room, turn off the air conditioner(s). The main living space has central air. Guests also should not turn the air conditioners below 23C / 74F. DO NOT leave doors open while the air conditioners are running – this will cause moisture build-up and result in the units dripping and possibly freezing.
Garbage can be placed in the bins right near the parking area.

At the property, you’ll also find bath towels, beach towels, bed linens, and a supply of products including bar soap, dish soap, dish sponge, dishwasher tabs (if applicable), hand soap, garbage bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. If you run out of these products during your stay you can purchase more at the local grocery store. Please note that we do not supply shampoo/conditioner or body wash.
