Playa Ocotal

A quiet beach located only three kilometers (almost two miles) from Playas del Coco, Playa Ocotal is a grey sand beach, and calm waves at the beach make it perfect for swimming and sunbathing. It is also a great spot for snorkeling. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, away from many of the tourists. While the town doesn’t have many restaurants and hotels, it does boast quality over quantity. The beachfront is home to a longtime established restaurant known as Father Rooster, popular with ex-pats and locals alike.
